1. General provisions

1.1. This Cookie Policy (the «Cookie Policy») explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on the k-publishing.ru website (the «Website»), by whom and for what purposes they are used, and how the User can manage their settings.

1.2. The Cookie Policy forms an integral part of the Personal Data Processing and Privacy Policy and applies together with it.

1.3. The operator of the Website is OOO «Trafik» (the «Operator»), whose details are given in the Personal Data Processing and Privacy Policy and in the «Contacts» section of the Website.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

2.1. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on the User’s device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when they visit the Website. On repeat visits the cookie makes it possible to identify the device and adapt the content of the Website.

2.2. Similar technologies include web beacons and pixels, the LocalStorage and SessionStorage browser storage mechanisms, and session identifiers.

2.3. For the purposes of this Policy the term «cookies» applies to all of the technologies listed above.

3. Types of cookies

3.1. By ownership: first-party — set by the Website itself; third-party — set by external services whose components are connected to the Website.

3.2. By storage period: session cookies — deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies — stored on the device until the set period expires or until the User deletes them.

4. Which cookies the Website uses

4.1. The Operator’s own cookies are not used. The Website does not place its own cookies on the User’s device and does not save data in browser storage.

4.2. Analytics cookies — Yandex Metrica. The Website runs a Yandex Metrica counter (YANDEX LLC, Russian Federation), including the «Webvisor» feature. The service sets its own cookies:

  • _ym_uid — anonymous visitor identifier, stored for up to 1 year;
  • _ym_d — date of the first visit, stored for up to 1 year;
  • _ym_isad — flag indicating an ad blocker, stored for up to 2 days;
  • _ym_visorc — service file of the «Webvisor» feature, stored for about 30 minutes.

The data collected is depersonalised. Processing rules: https://yandex.ru/legal/metrica_termsofuse/. Visits can be excluded from counting through the official Yandex Metrica opt-out page.

4.2.1. No advertising systems are connected to the Website. There are no advertising scripts or identifiers, and no advertising is displayed.

4.3. Third-party cookies — the mapping service. The «Contacts» section of the Website embeds a map widget of the Yandex Maps service (YANDEX LLC, Russian Federation). When the widget loads, that service may set its own cookies and process technical data about the User’s device in accordance with its own documents: https://yandex.ru/legal/confidential/. The widget is loaded lazily and only when the User scrolls down to the «Contacts» section.

4.4. The fonts, images and program code of the Website are hosted on the Operator’s servers; no third-party libraries or external font services are connected. The only external requests the browser makes are to the Yandex Metrica and Yandex Maps services.

5. Purposes for which cookies are used

5.1. Analytics cookies are used to count visits, to distinguish new visitors from returning ones, and to assess traffic sources and the usability of the Website. The data is processed in a depersonalised and aggregated form.

5.2. The third-party cookies of the mapping service are used to display the map, to save its settings and to keep the service secure.

5.3. The Operator does not use cookies to display advertising, to build interest profiles or to track Users across other websites.

6. Managing and refusing cookies

6.1. The User may block or restrict the use of cookies in their browser settings at any time, and may also delete cookies already stored.

6.2. The settings can be found in: Google Chrome — «Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies»; Mozilla Firefox — «Settings → Privacy & Security»; Safari — «Settings → Privacy»; Microsoft Edge — «Settings → Cookies and site permissions»; Yandex Browser — «Settings → Sites → Advanced site settings».

6.3. Visits can be excluded from Yandex Metrica separately at https://yandex.ru/support/metrica/general/opt-out.html.

6.4. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent the map widget in the «Contacts» section from being displayed. This does not affect access to the other materials of the Website.

7. Security and storage periods

7.1. The storage periods of third-party cookies are determined by the owner of the relevant service and are set out in its documents.

7.2. The Operator does not pass data obtained through cookies to third parties, except for its processing by the Yandex Metrica service itself under that service’s own rules.

8. Amendments to the Cookie Policy

8.1. The Operator may amend this Cookie Policy unilaterally. The current version is always available on the Website, stating the date of the last revision.

8.2. If new third-party services are connected to the Website, this Cookie Policy will be supplemented before they start operating.
